The wealth gap exists and stems back to our country's history involving slavery. The wealth gap is still a concern among black and brown people today and some gender biases that still exist in 2023. This discussion has led the Financial Fortitude Committees to question, what more can be done to close the wealth gap? As such, the Fairfax County Alumnae Chapter, the Fredericksburg Area Alumnae Chapter, the Northern Virginia Alumnae Chapter & the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter are partnering to bring forth a collaborative chapter Financial Fortitude Fridays event titled: Clo$ing The Wealth Gap Reimagined! Breakout room selections will be provided during the presentation and attendees will have an opportunity to select the breakout room of their choice.
